As such, it is the ONLY genuine tourist guide freely available in San Miguel. Beginning in 2009, in addition to our regular guide, we also print separate versions to specifically target the high end sector of the tourist market. In our Summer edition, we have printed seperate versions for three of San Miguel's categoria especial hotel: Casa de Sierra Nevada, Casa Rosada and Hotel Villa Real and an individual edition for Harry's New Orleans Café & Oyster Bar (arguably the most popular tourist restaurant in San Miguel). We have also produced editions for the categoria especial hotels; Casa Quetzal, Hotel Dona Urraca, Dos Casas and Hotel el Meson. Each of these businesses have their own cover and two extra pages to promote themselves to their guest and customers in what appears to be their own publication. In the case of the hotels, guests are offered the guide at check-in. And, since it provides the hotels with the opportunity to promote only their own interests (no other hotel advertisements), it will undoubtedly be the tourist guide of choice they will offer to their guests. However, although the covers are different, the contents of all five versions of the guide are the same. Consequently, a one page advertisement in ¡nfo-SMA means that advertisers have the same page in the Sierra Nevada, Harry's etc. versions of the guide. Advertisers are thus offered the opportunity of reaching both the general tourist market with ¡nfo-SMA and specifically targeting San Miguel's most affluent tourists with the hospitality editions. We intend to expand the high-end sector of the market with our next edition by producing editions for additional categoria especial hotels and premier restaurants.
